That's a Wrap 2022 - Year in Review

Thank YOU For an Amazing 2022

As the year comes to a close, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to everyone who has supported my business. Starting and running a business as a teenager is not an easy task, but with the support of my family, friends, and customers, I've been able to make it a success.

I want to specifically thank my parents and family for their unwavering support and sacrifice. Without them, Ava's Pet Palace wouldn't be where it is today. Their guidance, encouragement and support have been invaluable to me.

I also want to thank my amazing partners (you know who you are!), who have been a constant source of inspiration and motivation. Their ideas, insights, and expertise have helped me take my business to the next level.

As I look forward to the new year, I am excited to continue growing Ava's Pet Palace and achieving my goals. I'm also looking forward to the new opportunities and challenges that 2023 will bring.

I hope everyone has a happy and successful New Year, and I look forward to continuing to bring you the best dog and cat treats possible from Ava's Pet Palace. Thank you for your continued support!

Attended My First Big Expos

Attending trade shows and expos as a teenager can be an exciting and valuable experience. Being an exhibitor at the Global Pet Expo, Black Women's Expo, and SuperZoo in 2022 allowed me to showcase my business to a wide audience of retailers, distributors, and pet owners.

The Global Pet Expo was particularly special for me because the age limit was lowered, which allowed me and other young entrepreneurs to attend. This was a great opportunity for me to connect with other industry professionals and make valuable contacts. I was thrilled to learn that many of the retailers and distributors I met at the expo now carry my organic and all-natural dog treats.

The Black Women's Expo in Chicago was another great opportunity for me to connect with pet owners and showcase my treats. It was amazing to meet so many dog and cat moms, and hear their feedback on my products.

Lastly, SuperZoo in Las Vegas was an amazing experience. It was great to meet more retailers and distributors, and learn about the latest trends in the pet industry. I was able to connect with many industry professionals, and I look forward to growing those relationships in the future.

Attending these expos has been a great opportunity for me to grow my business and reach new customers. I am excited to continue attending these expos in the future and expanding my business even further. I hope my experience will be helpful for other young entrepreneurs looking to attend trade shows and expos.

More Retail Locations!

I'm thrilled to announce that Ava's Pet Palace is continuing to grow and expand into more retail locations than ever before. This year, our treats were in over 1000 PetSmart locations for a limited time. We are also working with many other independent pet retailers around the nation to get our nutritious and delicious treats to even more pets!

I'm so excited to be able to bring our treats to more pet parents and their furry friends. I believe that all pets deserve the best nutrition, and I am dedicated to making it as easy as possible for pet parents to find our treats in their local stores.

I can't wait to announce some of the new retailers my treats will be in in 2023!

My First Cover Stories!

This year has been full of opportunities to share my story through interviews, podcasts, and speaking events. I am grateful for every platform that has allowed me to share my journey as a young entrepreneur and the lessons I have learned along the way.

One of the highlights of this year was being featured on the cover of several industry magazines. I still can't believe that my business and my story have reached that level of visibility and recognition. It's an honor and a privilege to be able to inspire other young entrepreneurs to follow their dreams and to know that my story can be an inspiration to others.

I am also thankful for all the journalists, bloggers and podcasters who wrote articles and featured me on their platforms. It was a great opportunity to share my story and my vision with a larger audience.
