Youth Entrepreneurship Community
I've been an entrepreneur since I was 8-years-old! I know that may sound funny. But, it's true.
I've learned that building a business is a lot about community. I'm fortunate to have an amazing community to help me learn and grow.
Let me introduce you to Envision Lead Grow, a national non profit organization inspiring middle school girls to become entrepreneurs and girls bosses! I was first introduced to Envision Lead Grow in 2019. The program has been really awesome and I'm so happy to be a part of it. Each year we have a week long conference and another conference for the highest performing girls. We have monthly assignments and meetings and get set up with mentors! The last two years we've had virtual conferences, but when they are in person they're on college campuses, which is super cool! Envision Lead Grow's mission is to empower girls to build and live their dreams. And they do just that!
I've learned valuable business lessons. AND I have also gained a few close friends! One of them is Tamia, founder and owner of Mia's Treats Delight. She is not only a friend but a girl boss too!
And we're both baking treats! Mia's baking for people. And I'm baking for pets!
Her cookies are some of my favorites and I am so excited to share her business with you. Go check her (and her cookies and brownies) out!
