2024: A Year of Growth, Giving, and Big Dreams 🐾✨

Wow, what a year it’s been! As I sit down to reflect on everything we’ve accomplished in 2024, I can’t help but feel so grateful for all of YOU, our amazing community of pet parents, supporters, and cheerleaders. This year had its ups, its downs, and everything in between, but every moment was worth it because of the love and support we felt from our Palace Squad.

Here are just a few highlights from this incredible year:

    • 🐾 First Live Panel at The Pet Summit: I stepped out of my comfort zone and onto the stage for my first-ever live panel during Global Pet Expo, a huge milestone for me personally and for Ava’s Pet Palace.



    • 💖 Supporting Over 25 Organizations: Our commitment to giving back stayed strong as we supported over 25 rescues, shelters, and animal advocates this year.
    • 🤝 Partnerships That Make a Difference: We teamed up with some amazing creators who helped us spread our message even further and introduce Ava’s Pet Palace to new friends.
    • 🍗 New Treats: We launched 5 new single-ingredient treats, giving your pets even more options for healthy, tail-wagging snacks.
    • 📈 Wefunder Campaign Launch: In August, we took a big leap and publicly launched our Wefunder campaign, raising almost $28,000 to date, thank you to everyone who’s invested in our growth and vision so far
    • 🎤 Fearless Fund Pitch Competition Win: I stepped on stage for my first live pitch since 2020 and proudly won the Fearless Fund Foundation pitch competition—an unforgettable moment and a huge confidence boost for me and Ava's Pet Palace! 🏆🐾




    • 🌟 Meeting My Heroes: This year, I had the chance to meet (both virtually and in person) women entrepreneurs I’ve admired for years, including the incredible Kitten Lady herself.



    • ✊🏽 Mentoring for Diversity: We continued our dedication to supporting diversity by acting as a mentor for the Black Pet Business Network's first Launchpad cohort, a program I’m so proud to be part of.


    • 🐶 Pay What You Can Program: One of the things I’m most proud of is launching our ‘Pay What You Can: Paws of Love’ program. Every pet deserves healthy, high-quality treats, and this initiative makes sure cost isn’t a barrier to love and care.
    • 🐾 Palace Squad Feature Page Launch: This year, we introduced our Palace Squad Feature page, a special spotlight where we celebrate a new Squad member and their pup every month! Want to be featured in 2025? Sign up and join the fun! 🌟🐶✨

This year wasn’t just about treats and sales. It was about connection, growth, and staying true to our mission to create a healthier world for pets, people, and our planet.
